Windows 8 is still only in the developer preview phase however, for those of us who want to try out the new interface now without downloading the full OS can download metro 7 now for Windows 7. Metro 7 is a small executable that installs a Windows 8 metro style ui on top of your windows 7 desktop much like the Windows Vista and 7 transformation packs in the past.
