From the home screen, tap “menu”
- Tap “settings”
- Tap “Accounts and Sync”
- Tap “Add an account” toward the bottom of the screen.
- For the account type, select “Exchange ActiveSync”
- Enter your network e-mail address in the “E-mail address” field
- Enter your network password in the “Password” field
- Tap “Next”
- Enter your companies web access url or ip address in the Exchange Server Address field
- Enter your companies domain in the Domain field
- Tap “Next”
- Select the items you wish to sync with your phone. By default your mail, contacts, and calendars are synced
- You’re done! You should now be able to access your e-mail with your Android Phone.
Troubleshooting:
- If your Android phone gives you a sync error please check the following:Make sure your password is correct
- Verify you entered the exchange information correctly
- Make sure you can get out to the internet from your phone. If the phone is new it could take a few hours for internet activation.
- You may need to consult with your IT administrator if you are having trouble getting your phone to sync.
