PS3 3D Update causes issues with some Blu-ray movies

Earlier today I put my Sunshine Blu-Ray movie (it's a sci-fi space movie for those of you who haven't seen it and a good one at that) and during the second chapter the PIP commentary window pops up at the lower right corner of the screen. I didn't remember selecting this option so I go back to the root menu and try playing it again from the beginning to no avail.
